District Fray Magazine Rebrand & Membership Strategy
On Tap Magazine, acquired by DC Fray in 2019, was rebranded to District Fray Magazine in 2020 with a subscription membership model to support the publication. Continuing to cover lifestyle and entertainment in DC, my role was implement a membership strategy based on inbound marketing techniques.
The project first began as a rebranding practice to assure and retain existing readers. The membership strategy was expedited due to COVID-19, with a shift in focus to gaining readers and turning free memberships into paid memberships.
